Overview

We’re building a dedicated marketing team for a major sports-based attraction. This role is a full-time position within our company, embedded day-to-day with one client and fully focused on launching and growing their business.

This is not a traditional agency role. You will operate as an extension of the client’s internal team, with real ownership over strategy, creative, and performance.

The Opportunity

You’ll help launch a new sports attraction and shape how it shows up in the world from day one. This includes initial launch, ongoing operations, and future expansions including touring experiences and additional installations.

RequirementsWhat You’ll Own

You will lead the digital presence and creative output from the ground up, helping bring a new sports experience to market and scale its audience over time.

  • Own and drive the full social and digital ecosystem, from strategy through execution
  • Lead creative direction across platforms, translating brand guidelines into content that actually connects with fans
  • Build and manage content calendars tied to key moments, launches, and cultural opportunities
  • Launch and scale channels from zero, with a focus on audience growth, engagement, and ticket sales
  • Analyze performance across platforms and adjust quickly based on what’s working
  • Lead major campaign rollouts from concept through execution, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Direct and elevate creative output from designers, editors, and external partners
  • Partner on influencer and creator strategies that feel authentic to the brand and audience
  • Stay on top of platform shifts, trends, and fan behavior, and bring forward ideas proactively
  • Be present for key moments, including launches, events, and cultural spikes that matter
How This Role Works
  • You are a full-time employee of our company, dedicated to a single client
  • You will be highly integrated with the client’s team and day-to-day operations
  • You will not follow a traditional agency structure or juggle multiple accounts
  • Success in this role is measured by business impact, not just output
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience leading social and creative for sports, entertainment, or fandom-driven brands
  • A strong point of view on what actually resonates with fans and drives action
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, from big ideas to daily execution
  • Comfortable building from scratch and working in an evolving, fast-moving environment
  • Strong collaborator who can build trust quickly with clients and partners
  • Someone who takes ownership and moves without waiting to be told

Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary and a range of benefits and perks:

  • Salary: $120,000 per year
  • Health care plan (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Retirement plan with employer match
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Generous paid time off package that includes vacation, sick, “life happens” days, birthdays, summer Fridays and public holidays
  • Paid family leave
  • Cold brew coffee, snacks and fresh fruit
  • Wellness resources
  • Special access to New York City’s arts and entertainment scene We have been honored for our commitment to our team with workplace awards from Crain’s, Best Companies Group, Cynopsis, Digiday, and Fortune.
Our Company

We are Situation, a digital-first agency that builds and drives passionate communities to meaningful action. We partner with live experience-based brands like WICKED on Broadway, MJ on Broadway, The Metropolitan Opera, and Cirque du Soleil.
