Position Overview:
As Social Media Assistant, you will help bring Motek's story, flavors, and energy to life across our digital platforms. You'll support the creation and scheduling of content that showcases our food, culture, and grand opening moments, working closely with the marketing and management team to grow our online presence and engage our community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
- Capture photo and video content in-restaurant, including food, behind-the-scenes moments, and team culture
- Support the execution of the grand opening social media campaign and ongoing content calendar
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, on-brand manner
- Track engagement metrics and assist in compiling performance reports
- Stay current on food and hospitality social media trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Coordinate with the General Manager and marketing team to align content with promotions, events, and menu launches
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing; restaurant or hospitality experience a plus
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook best practices and content formats
- Comfortable shooting and editing photo/video content on a smartphone; experience with editing apps (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Lightroom) preferred
- Creative eye for food and lifestyle content, with an appreciation for Mediterranean cuisine and culture a plus
- Excellent written communication skills and a strong sense of brand voice
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends around events and openings
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a content calendar
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
