About Dispel

Dispel is building secure remote access for the systems that keep the world running — from power grids and utilities to oil & gas, manufacturing, transportation, water, and other critical infrastructure sectors.

Our platform supports asset owners, operators, and service providers who manage distributed industrial and operational technology (OT) environments — where security, uptime, and safety are non-negotiable.

We help critical organizations modernize access without compromising operational integrity — delivering security built specifically for the realities of industrial and infrastructure networks.

The Role

We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to own and scale Dispel’s presence across LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure.

This is not a “schedule posts and call it a day” role.

You’ll shape strategy, drive thought leadership, collaborate directly with executives, and build a voice that stands out in a highly technical market. You’ll translate complex security concepts into content people actually want to read — and tie it all back to measurable business impact 📈

If you love turning smart ideas into compelling narratives — and want autonomy to experiment and build — this is your role.

What You’ll Own 🎯🔹 Social Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and evolve Dispel’s social strategy aligned to brand and revenue goals
  • Own our presence across core channels
  • Identify moments to join industry conversations and drive relevance
  • Test new formats, messaging angles, and growth tactics
✍️ Content & Editorial Direction
  • Write sharp, technically credible posts for audience
  • Translate complex product and OT security concepts into clear, engaging content
  • Partner with design on visuals, carousels, short-form video, and campaign assets
  • Help define and protect Dispel’s voice
🧠 Executive & SME Thought Leadership
  • Support executive LinkedIn presence (ghostwriting, editing, refining POVs)
  • Elevate internal subject matter experts into visible industry voices
  • Help shape how Dispel shows up in the cybersecurity conversation
📊 Performance & Optimization
  • Track KPIs tied to engagement quality, audience growth, and marketing impact
  • Deliver insights — not just metrics
  • Run experiments and continuously improve content performance
  • Connect social activity to broader campaign and pipeline goals
🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely across teams
  • Amplify launches, campaigns, and industry events
  • Identify opportunities where social can accelerate awareness

RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • 2–4+ years of B2B social experience (cybersecurity, SaaS, industrial tech, or adjacent industries preferred)
  • Exceptional writing skills — especially for technical topics
  • Proven experience growing and managing LinkedIn as a primary B2B channel
  • Experience supporting executive or thought leadership content
  • Strong analytical instincts — you care about what works and why
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-moving environment
What Success Looks Like 🌱
  • A consistent, differentiated voice in the cybersecurity and OT space
  • Growing engagement from decision-makers in critical infrastructure
  • Executives showing up confidently and consistently on LinkedIn
  • Clear evidence that social supports brand growth and marketing momentum
  • A testing mindset that drives steady improvement

BenefitsBenefits
  • $83-96K base salary
  • Incentive units/ equity
  • Performance bonus eligible
  • PTO
  • Full medical, vision, dental insurance
  • Remote
  • +More!

Why Join Dispel?

  • High ownership — you’ll actually shape the strategy
  • Mission-driven work protecting critical infrastructure
  • Direct collaboration with leadership
  • Room to experiment, build, and make your mark

If you’re excited about building something meaningful — and want your work to have real visibility and impact — we’d love to talk. 💬
