About the RoleSoftheon is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As the Social Media Manager, you will have full ownership of both organic and paid channels and play a crucial role in promoting our brand, products, and services across our three distinct brands.
You will lead the entire process – from strategy and content development through execution and performance analysis – while continuously testing and optimizing new approaches. This role will require a creative thinker, excited to experiment. It is perfect for someone who can understand how to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and stays ahead of emerging trends across platforms (especially LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit).
RequirementsYou Will:
Social Media Strategy & Channel Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across three brands, tailored to distinct audiences and business goals.
- Own the content calendar and publish daily posts, ensuring consistent, high-quality content across platforms.
- Manage and optimize both organic and paid social campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Content Development & Brand Management
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content, including copy, visuals, and short-form video.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and positioning across all social channels.
- Manage executive social media presence to support thought leadership initiatives, as needed.
Community Engagement & Event Support
- Monitor, engage, and respond to followers to build community and strengthen brand trust.
- Lead social media coverage for events, including live posting, recaps, and amplification.
- Write and distribute LinkedIn and company newsletters across social and email channels.
Strategic Alignment & Collaboration
- Partner with the Content Manager and Creative Designer to develop and execute high-impact content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and other teams to align social messaging with broader strategies.
- Participate in campaign planning with Sales and Marketing, supporting initiatives across events, product launches, webinars, and demand generation efforts.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and positioning across all social channels.
Analytics, Insights & Optimizations
- Conduct social media market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
- Stay informed on industry news, trends, and platform updates, applying insights to content and strategy.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics and KPIs against benchmarks, using insights to optimize campaigns.
- Develop regular reporting and share actionable recommendations with stakeholders.
- Leverage data to continuously refine content strategy, audience targeting, and overall performance.
Talent Management
- Collaborate with the Talent team to actively engage in the hiring and recruitment process, including but not limited to participating in interviews.
- Leverage industry networks and expertise to identify and attract top talent that aligns with the company's objectives and values.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members within your department and across diverse functions.
- Play an integral role in shaping and reinforcing the overall company culture, promoting values that enhance teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Additional Responsibilities
- Must be available for on-call duty during peak periods, providing support outside of regular working hours as needed to ensure the timely resolution of critical issues.
- Although we work in a remote-first environment, all roles require in-person attendance at our headquarters approximately 2 times per year (in addition to other travel requirements for this specific role, if applicable). These visits are essential for team collaboration, strategic planning, and fostering deeper connections across the organization. Travel arrangements will be supported to ensure a seamless experience.
- 10-15% travel for team quarterly business reviews, customer engagements, and industry events.
- Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field — or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience managing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, X; YouTube, Reddit, and Instagram a plus).
- Proven success growing engagement, reach, and brand awareness through both organic and paid strategies.
- Background in B2B, preferably Insurtech, SaaS, or health insurance.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation and efficiency.
Certifications
- Must complete the following certifications within 90 days of being hired if not already certified:
- HubSpot Social Media Marketing Certification Course: Get Certified in Social Media Strategy
- HubSpot Social Media Marketing II Certification: Take Your Social Media Strategy to the Next-Level
Knowledge
- Proficiency in social media tools and platforms, with a strong understanding of best practices, algorithms, and emerging trends.
- Experience using social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills across formats and audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable presenting ideas and performance insights to senior leadership.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with a willingness to execute tactically.
Attributes
- Creative storyteller with a strong sense of audience and messaging.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) required.
- Working knowledge of Hubspot, Canva, and other AI tools required.
- Experience with any social management platform required

What We Offer:
Softheon offers every full-time employee a comprehensive compensation and benefits package including:
- For this position we offer a base pay of $76,000-$90,000 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as candidate location, qualifications, skill level, and competencies.
