Citi is looking for a dynamic social media strategist to lead content, and campaigns that amplify our brand, engage audiences, and drive business impact for our consumer cards business and across other key company priorities. As a key member of the Advertising, Experiential, and Social Media team within the US Consumer Cards business, this is an exciting opportunity to join a team helping to shape how one of the world’s most respected financial services brands shows up and drives impact across social media channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end social media strategies and campaigns from brief to launch across platforms, supporting Citi products, services, and partnership across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Develop clear briefs for agency parents and oversee content creation, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
  • Partner with media teams to plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns.
  • Manage legal reviews and compliance for all social content.
  • Deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership and partners, highlighting impact and opportunities.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to integrate social into prioritized marketing initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by adopting emerging platforms and creative strategies.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Serve as a social media subject matter expert for sponsorships, influencers, and partnerships.
  • Lead on thought-leadership and knowledge-sharing by socializing best practices across the organization.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience managing social media programs (brand or agency); financial services experience a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and platform capabilities.
  • Strong creative vision with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in social KPIs and influencer metrics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with social media management platforms.
  • Experience leading and supporting paid social media campaigns.

Other key logistics about this position:

  • Hybrid location role, on-site at Citi’s NYC Tribeca office 3 days per week.
  • Occasional travel possible.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
