Lead the development and implementation of digital strategies across the Social Media Management team, mentoring junior staff and overseeing strategic efforts.
Get Engaged is a leading full-service marketing agency with a focus in social media and influencer marketing. We are looking to hire a Social Media Strategist with 4–6+ years of agency and strategy experience who will lead the development and implementation of digital strategies and oversee strategic efforts across the Social Media Management team.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Lead the development of platform strategies tailored to each client’s unique goals and positioning
- Guide and mentor junior strategists and associate team members in research and planning
- Use social listening tools and native platform features to inform and optimize clients’ social media presence
- Stay up to date on new platform updates and brief internal teams and clients as needed
- Facilitate and lead brainstorm sessions with brand managers, creatives, and design teams
- Proactively identify cultural trends, relevant moments, and engagement opportunities for our brands
- Oversee the development of brand personas and positioning documents to clearly differentiate our clients from competitors
- Build and own content strategies for each client, outlining evergreen, campaign, and real-time approaches
- Lead reporting and optimization efforts by translating analytics and sentiment data into actionable insights
- Attend and lead weekly client meetings, presenting strategic updates and opportunities
- Identify growth areas and provide high-level recommendations that establish clients as leaders in their industries
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4–6+ years of experience in social media strategy, with strong knowledge of:
- TikTok
- X (Twitter)
- Threads
- Strong understanding of content creation workflows and creative processes
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
- Expertise in social listening, insights reporting, and translating data into strategy
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and departments
- Experience leading client communication and presentations
