Summary:

SWS is seeking a qualified Social Media & Web Manager to join its New York City office in a hybrid capacity, requiring four days in-office and one day remote each week. This position is responsible for overseeing and growing the Firm’s online presence on a range of social media platforms and websites. The role brings together digital marketing, content creation, website management, and brand communication to ensure clear messaging and strong audience engagement.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

• Monitor social media engagement (impressions, reach, views, etc.) and grow online audience engagement

• Create and maintain content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and company goals

• Update and manage website content, including landing pages, etc. via Wix websites

• Design graphics, promotional materials, and digital assets for online campaigns

• Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms and communications

• Collaborate with leadership, marketing teams, and external vendors on digital strategy initiatives

• Serve as main liaison between SWS and PR agency to strategize and streamline and draft media releases, announcements, awards, recognitions, TV appearances, partnerships, etc.

• Collaborate with PR agency to put together Firm and employee nominations for awards (Crain’s Business, Most Influential Women, IFR Award, etc.)

• Produce, script, and edit SWS’s official podcast and promote across all platforms

• Orchestrate marketing initiatives for Virtual Town Hall campaign to heighten client attendance and engagement

• Conduct email marketing campaigns for specific finance sectors distributed weekly

• Be aware of regulations and internal compliance policies that impact external communications

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, journalism or a related field preferred

• Effective writing, speaking, and presenting skills

• Interest in financial services and the business of SWS is preferred. Capital markets knowledge is a plus but not immediately required

• Strong skills in Graphic Design (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.)

• Experience in Video Editing (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, etc.)

• Experience in podcast production, hosting platforms and editing (Audacity, GarageBand, Adobe Premier Pro, Buzzsprout, Etc.)

• Creativity, adaptability and familiarity with current marketing trends within financial services

• Familiarity with content management systems, webpage analytics, and other relevant software

• Maintain understanding of social platforms and how they work and evolve as they change to create impactful strategy

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills

We are Committed to Fair Pay. At SWS, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The target total fixed compensation range for these positions is $80,000 - $85,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
