We are seeking a Social Strategist with a proven record of growing social audiences to 1M+ followers. This person will lead audience growth, content strategy, community development, and platform positioning across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
This role sits at the intersection of creator growth, entertainment marketing, filmmaking, and cultural community building. The ideal candidate has personally driven a creator, brand, or media property past the one-million-follower mark — and can translate that playbook into scalable growth across multiple connected brands.
Responsibilities- Own and execute audience growth strategies designed to scale brands.
- Define content pillars, positioning, and social media direction.
- Advise on Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and short-form video strategy that drives reach and follower velocity.
- Build community engagement and retention initiatives that convert reach into a loyal, growing audience.
- Identify creator collaborations, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
- Recommend and structure paid social strategies to accelerate organic momentum.
- Set growth targets, track follower and engagement metrics, and iterate based on performance.
- Translate creative vision into actionable, measurable social media plans.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience growing a creator, brand, or media property to 1M+ followers. Be ready to share the account(s) and your specific role in driving that growth.
- Proven experience growing creator brands, media properties, entertainment companies, or community-led audiences.
- Deep, current understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reels, and short-form content trends and platform algorithms.
- Strong command of audience growth, content strategy, retention, and community building.
- Entertainment, film, creator economy, or media industry experience preferred.
- Ability to develop culturally relevant audience engagement strategies for niche and community-driven audiences.
