About the Role:

CrowdStrike's Identity Protection Product Group in Israel has grown into one of the highest-performing teams, driving significant ARR growth while tackling one of cybersecurity's hardest problems: identity posture at cloud scale. As a Senior Engineer on the Entities team, you'll own the full entity lifecycle - from scraping identity data across Active Directory, Azure, and cloud providers, through enrichment and risk scoring, to publishing millions of identity entities into CrowdStrike's asset platform. Your systems are the foundation that detection rules, alert pipelines, and customer-facing dashboards all depend on. You'll tackle real-world scale challenges: processing massive volumes of identity data through complex dependency graphs, maintaining data consistency across distributed regions, and building new high-performance Go microservices to replace and extend legacy systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the entity enrichment pipeline - a DAG-based computation engine that calculates 100+ fields, risk scores, and privilege relationships for every identity entity

  • Build and maintain data ingestion services that scrape Active Directory forests, process cloud assets from Azure/AWS via Kafka, and integrate third-party identity sources

  • Design and develop new Go microservices as the team migrates performance-critical paths from Node.js/Java to Go

  • Solve complex data pipeline challenges: dependency ordering, incremental computation, race condition handling, and cache invalidation at scale

  • Publish entity data to CrowdStrike's centralized asset graph (SDMF), ensuring correctness and freshness for millions of identities - Optimize system performance - reduce enrichment latency, improve throughput, and handle traffic spikes gracefully - Mentor and elevate engineering talent, sharing expertise in building production systems that work under pressure

You'll work on problems like:

  • Processing and enriching millions of identity entities through a 100+ provider dependency graph in real-time

  • Building resilient Kafka consumers that handle cloud asset events at scale with exactly-once semantics

  • Designing incremental computation strategies that avoid redundant work while maintaining data freshness

  • Migrating critical services to Go for improved performance and resource efficiency

  • Calculating identity risk scores by aggregating signals from AD privileges, behavioral patterns, and cloud permissions

Tech Stack:

  • Go

  • Java

  • Node.js / JavaScript

  • Python

  • MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, AWS

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems through complete lifecycles

  • Proven expertise designing and building data-intensive services - pipelines, enrichment engines, or event-driven architectures at scale

  • Strong proficiency in Go, Java, and Node.js (working across multiple stacks, not just one)

  • Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, and event-driven microservice patterns

  • Quality-focused mindset - you ship reliable software that works in production at scale

  • Strong collaboration skills - you work effectively across engineering, product, support, and sales teams

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience

  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or identity/access management domains

  • Familiarity with graph-based computation models (DAGs, dependency resolution)

  • Background in migrating legacy systems to Go

  • Experience with risk scoring or entity resolution systems

This position is based in our Ramat-Gan, Israel office and requires strong leadership presence and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
