Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a versatile Software Engineer with experience in both software development and QA automation. This role is ideal for a developer who has also worked with automated testing and enjoys supporting code quality across the delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to technical analysis, development, maintenance, and migration of existing applications while also helping build, enhance, and execute automated test solutions.

This is a hybrid role requiring strong technical skills across development, scripting, and test automation, including experience with Java, Python, Perl, Linux, Shell scripting, Selenium, and Cucumber.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high level technical analysis of ideas to determine feasibility and approach

  • Provide accurate work estimates, a critical component for building project timelines and establishing delivery commitments

  • Maintenance and migration of existing code basis to newer platforms.

  • Develop, Automate and Execute test cases, verifying results to expected outcomes prior to release of code for business or client acceptance testing.

  • Provide input into integration, implementation and deployment content and strategies, maintaining operating manuals and system documentation as necessary.

  • Support/update/enhance automation tools

  • Special projects, tasks or assignments, as required, to ensure the success of the Department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Solid knowledge of programming, testing & deployment tools, techniques, and languages applicable to the products or systems with which they work.

  • Strong knowledge of application analysis and design methodologies, including database concepts.

  • Practical experience with: Perl, Python, Java, Linux, Shell scripting

  • Experience developing and executing automated tests as part of delivery cycle

  • Knowledge of AFP and PDF print formatting, testing (content and formatting)

  • Working knowledge of the software development project life cycle and AGILE methodology.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $95,000.

Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible
