What you will do:

  • Participate in roadmapping and architecture discussions
  • Produce high-quality, production-ready, readable, maintainable code
  • Lead large projects from initial inception to production
  • Unblock and support your team of peers including engineers, designers, product managers, and business operators
  • Interact with customers to solve customer problems
  • Build a best in class developer experience for Merge’s dashboard, docs, APIs and SDKs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of full-time software engineering experience
  • Experience with design systems, modern styling, and frontend testing practices preferable
  • Experience with React, Typescript, Django, Python and Go
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
  • An ability to perform in a fast paced environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Startup or SaaS experience preferred

Compensation

  • The cash compensation range for this role is $155,000 - $215,000.
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all full time employees receive an equity compensation package
