Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and manage highly scalable and efficient services on a hybrid cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes/Docker on public and private cloud
  • Contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the build system by improving and maintaining tools like CMake, Buck2
  • Develop and maintain a system for dependency and release management to ensure the smooth deployment of software updates
  • Optimize the CI/CD system for reliability, performance, and scalability
  •  Ensure infrastructure is resilient, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of the development team and business needs 
  • Understand the needs of development teams and evangelize appropriate open-source and proprietary tools to push the boundaries of automation and productivity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field
  •  One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  •  Skills with the following required:
    • C++, Rust, Python, and Bash
    • Kubernetes and public cloud platforms like GCP
    • Git, including development workflows on Gitlab or Github
    • Experience with Linux fundamentals
    • Writing code for high frequency trading systems
    • Building tools for exchange simulators

Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.

Anticipated New York annual base salary range $194,500 to $230,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus.
