Who You Are
Are you a wiz with design and development? Do you have a demonstrated ability to build, deploy, and maintain large-scale applications? Do you love coding and are you eager to learn more in a data-driven, entrepreneurial environment?
As a Software Engineer, you will be a part of our Marketing Website team, focusing on delivering products and capabilities that power the Justworks website. You will leverage your experience working with customer-facing applications and design with performance and security in mind. You will be working primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript and prior experience is preferred.

The Marketing Website team’s mission is to deliver capabilities that unlock value-adds for the marketing team to improve our ability to convert leads into new customers through digital channels. Joining our team as a Software Engineer, you will apply your experience with technology to creatively push the boundaries of what is possible for our marketing team, elevating Justworks’ marketing footprint.
- Work closely with other engineers, product managers and designers on a daily basis
- Build and iterate on high quality designs and features that generate immediate value and feedback
- Play a key role in impactful and visible efforts to scale our technology, improve our performance, and capitalize on business opportunities
- Evangelize software development best practices to ensure the sustainability of our technology, and motivate other engineers to do the same
- Multiply the impact of engineers on your team through mentorship and empowerment

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional hands-on experience in frontend development
- You collaborate with technical and non-technical partners for mutual benefit
- You have experience delivering high quality, public-facing designs and user experiences
- You face complexity with eagerness and confidence
- You are a self-starter and seek out opportunities for growth
- You thrive working with a team of diverse backgrounds and identities and you seek to bring out the best in your teammates
- Experience in React (preferred)
- Experience in VueJS (a plus)

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $115,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
