Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our Platform Development team. In this role, you will help build and enhance a modern platform that supports digital health services, enabling healthcare providers and patients to access reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to develop new features, improve system performance, and contribute to building a high-quality platform that makes a positive impact on healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain platform features and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new functionality.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.

  • Contribute to improving platform performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Assist with API development and integration.

  • Learn and work with modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies.

  • Stay up to date with software engineering best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of commercial software development experience.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design fundamentals.

  • Experience working with REST APIs.

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

  • Basic knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.

  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

  • Understanding of microservices architecture.

  • Experience with healthcare, medical, or health-tech applications.

  • Awareness of security best practices and data privacy principles.
