• Help travellers find and book the perfect trip by working on the systems that search across dozens of airlines, hotel chains, train operators, and car rental companies all at once. You'd help make sure results come back fast, prices are accurate, and the whole booking experience feels as easy as shopping online.

• Take the pain out of expenses and invoicing by building the tools that automatically generate invoices, handle VAT, and process expense reports for thousands of companies. You'd help finance teams stop chasing receipts and start trusting that everything adds up, without the manual work.

• Make payments seamless and reliable by working on the systems that handle how companies pay for travel; across different currencies, payment methods, and billing setups. You'd help ensure every transaction is smooth, accurate, and scales as the business grows.

• Connect Perk to the tools companies already rely on by building integrations with accounting systems, expense platforms, and HR tools. You'd also contribute to our Open API and webhooks, making it easy for partners and customers to plug Perk into their own workflows, so travel data flows where it needs to go, automatically.

• Give travel managers the insights they need by working on reporting dashboards, business analytics, and sustainability features like our GreenPerk carbon footprint tracker. You'd help companies understand their travel spend, track their CO₂ emissions, and make smarter, greener decisions.

• Build smart AI-powered features that make the platform more intelligent over time. From our Juno chat assistant that helps travellers resolve issues faster, to AI that classifies support emails or maps hotel rooms across providers; you'd help bring automation and intelligence into real product experiences.

• Keep users safe and companies in control by working on identity and access management; things like single sign-on, user provisioning, roles and permissions, and approval workflows. You'd help make sure the right people can do the right things, securely and effortlessly.

• Empower customer support to deliver a 7-star experience by building the internal tools that help our care team respond faster, resolve issues more efficiently, and handle everything from booking modifications to cancellations with confidence.

• Strengthen the platform under the hood by contributing to the core systems that power everything, from our main web application to the services that connect all the pieces together. You'd help us keep things reliable, fast, and ready to scale as Perk grows into the world's leading business travel platform.

• Product Mindset: Ships features iteratively with a focus on measurable user impact and rapid feedback loops.

• CS Fundamentals: Applies solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, relational modeling) to build performant and scalable logic.

• Quality & Testing: Ensures code quality through unit/integration testing, active participation in code reviews, and maintaining readable documentation.

• Frontend: Builds responsive, accessible interfaces using semantic HTML, CSS, and modern React patterns.

• Backend & Integrations: Constructs robust APIs and 3rd-party integrations, ensuring resilience through proper error handling, retries, and idempotency.

• Observability: Utilizes logs, metrics, and traces to monitor feature health and troubleshoot production issues.

• Collaboration: Partners effectively with Product and Design to refine requirements and provide technical feasibility feedback.

• Growth: Adopts new technologies quickly and actively seeks feedback to improve technical and professional skills.

How We Work

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.
