SAY team's mission: Say brings investors closer to their investments by providing brokers, companies, and funds tools for connecting with investors. Say allows customers to vote their shares and receive important information about their investments. Public companies and funds use Say to understand and build deeper relationships with their investors.

Embodied in Robinhood’s mission “To democratize finance for all” is enabling access to tools and information. SAY’s mission is also deeply embedded in enabling access and empowering retail shareholders with tools to connect to issuers and issuers to connect to retail shareholders.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and improve the SAY suite of tools & platform as a Software Developer
  • Build scalable systems and components, making the right tradeoffs to account for stability and long-term maintainability.
  • Design, write, test, and release product-facing features adhering to strict correctness and scalability requirements.
  • Lead projects of both small & large complexity
  • See opportunities to boost system performance, team efficiency, and mitigate risk.
What you bring
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience working on large & small projects with long-term impact.
  • Strong technical grasp with excellent judgment on task prioritizations.
  • Ability to solve complex engineering problems that deliver results aligned with team objectives.
  • Ability to lead technically on new initiatives and system improvements.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
