What this role is all about

As a Full-Stack Engineer within Infobip’s Payments team, you’ll play a key role in developing and scaling products that help power our global communications platform. Your mission is to create software solutions that securely and seamlessly process payments for users worldwide, connecting with payment gateways, integrating clients, and ensuring real-time data access. You’ll join a collaborative team that values clean code, agile practices, and impactful work. The Payments team is all about solving meaningful challenges, supporting each other, and driving Infobip’s innovation in financial technology.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot services within the Infobip Payments product

  • Write well-designed, testable, and scalable code, following clean code principles

  • Build solutions across the full stack, including backend, frontend, and system design

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management in an agile (Scrum) environment

  • Participate with your team in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives

  • Integrate payment gateways and client financial structures securely and efficiently

  • Lead improvements in alerting, monitoring, and system reliability

  • Tackle challenges in distributed microservices and architecture at global scale

What makes you a strong fit

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial software development

  • Proficient in backend technologies including Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

  • Skilled in frontend technologies, ideally ReactJS (or AngularJS, Vue.js) and TypeScript

  • Experience building RESTful services and APIs

  • Understanding of relational databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or similar

  • Familiar with code review processes and automated testing best practices

  • Strong communicator, team player, and passionate about solving complex problems

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary) and containerization (Docker)

  • Prior exposure to troubleshooting and supporting production distributed systems

  • Background or interest in fintech and payment industry solution
