Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds,  and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

Equifax is seeking a highly motivated Solution Sales Executive to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) seller for our Commercial Business data solutions. You will be tasked with growing an existing book of business while actively hunting for new opportunities within assigned accounts across a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Insurance.

You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, bridging the gap between complex business challenges and data-driven solutions. If you excel at value engineering, navigating complex sales cycles, and transforming business credit data into actionable ROI, we want you on our team.

What you will do

  • Strategic Sales & Growth: Develop 12-month account plans for high-value prospects, proactively identify "white space" for product expansion, and hunt for new business opportunities.
  • Discovery & Solution Design: Lead independent discovery sessions to uncover client pain points. Independently design end-to-end custom workflows that prescribe tailored Equifax solutions.
  • Value Engineering & ROI Modeling: Leverage client data to conduct "retro-analyses" and data-matching exercises. Build compelling, data-backed value propositions that prove specific ROI and cost-reduction scenarios.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Navigate complex client organizational structures to identify key influencers. Manage multi-layered deals and secure consensus across diverse stakeholder groups (IT, Legal, Procurement).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the bridge between client technical teams and internal Equifax Centers of Excellence (Operations, Tech, Legal, Security, Product) to ensure flawless documentation, deployment, and execution.
  • Risk & Regulatory Advisory: Map Equifax tools to specific regulatory mandates to identify compliance gaps and ensure client "audit-readiness."
  • Customer Success & AI Insights: Monitor solution performance metrics, identify new use cases, and keep clients informed of market shifts. Apply AI insights and a fresh perspective to data to solve complex client problems

What experience you need

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent training and directly related experience.
  • Sales Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in B2B data licensing, tech/analytics platforms, or marketing data.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience operating in a data-heavy or SaaS environment (Credit, Payments, Fraud, or Marketing).
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations against revenue goals with highly complex, strategic B2B clients.
  • Executive Exposure: Experience working with senior-level executives, including an ability to immediately establish credibility and build/maintain those relationships.
  • Complex Deal Execution: A proven track record of managing discovery and long (6–12 month) sales cycles involving 3–4 distinct internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Technical Acumen: Hands-on experience conducting retro-analyses or data-matching exercises to prove model performance to clients, with a solid understanding of data deployment and onboarding processes.
  • Travel: ability to be face to face with clients ~20% of time worked

What sets you apart

  • Sales Velocity & Execution: The ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and execute complex solution strategies within a matrixed sales organization.
  • Independence: The ability to operate autonomously with limited oversight, developing work plans for moderately complex, short-term assignments.
  • Expert Problem Solving: A knack for applying fresh perspectives to existing solutions to unravel complex, intricate business problems.
  • Executive Presence: The ability to translate complex concepts into highly accessible, viable client presentations.
