As a key leader on Stord’s M&A Integration team, the Solutions Consultant is responsible for the technical and commercial success of our acquisitions. You will lead a specialized team of Solutions Engineers (Fulfillment and Parcel) to execute technical diligence, design end-to-end migration solutions, and develop solutioning and pricing for newly acquired customers.This is a player-coach role. As the “player,” you will bring deep, hands-on expertise in software and technical architecture to own the end-to-end solution design. As the “coach,” you will guide and mentor your team to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across fulfillment, parcel, and software.
Unlike a traditional pre-sales role, your focus is entirely post-acquisition. You will partner closely with M&A Program Managers to conduct deep-dive discovery into each acquired company’s technical and operational ecosystem. A core responsibility is translating their existing fulfillment, parcel, and software infrastructure into a comprehensive integration plan within Stord’s ecosystem. In parallel, you will identify and unlock opportunities for these customers to fully leverage Stord’s platform, driving incremental value beyond their current capabilities.
We are seeking a hands-on technical leader with strong architectural expertise who can operate in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and design scalable, pragmatic integration solutions.
This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of M&A Integration.What You’ll Do:
Architect the Product Adoption Blueprint: Own the design of the M&A product adoption playbook, including standardized presentations, solution documentation, and pricing frameworks that clearly articulate the value of adopting Stord’s full ecosystem across fulfillment, parcel, and software.
Lead the Technical Solutions Pod: Manage a small, high-performing team of Solutions Engineers. In this player-coach role, you will directly own the software solutions workstream while mentoring and directing your team across fulfillment and parcel workstreams.
Standardize the Integration Process: Define and implement best practices for technical discovery, solution documentation, and structured handoff to implementation teams, ensuring a consistent, repeatable, and high-quality integration experience.
Serve as the Lead Technical Strategist: Act as the primary technical authority for integrations. Conduct end-to-end gap analyses across all workstreams, engage key stakeholders, and synthesize technical insights to inform R&D and Product roadmap decisions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
2–3 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Implementation roles within supply chain or enterprise software.
Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams, with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and drive execution to successful outcomes.
Strong technical foundation in supply chain systems, including API integrations (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and enterprise platforms such as ERP, OMS, and WMS.
Commercial acumen with experience supporting pricing models and structuring complex solution deals.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Direct experience working within a post-merger integration (PMI) environment.
