Lithic is hiring a Solutions Engineer to design and deliver technical product solutions that meet customer needs and highlight the value of our platform. In this role, you’ll partner with customers and sales teams to develop tailored solutions that clearly demonstrate the benefits of working with Lithic. If you’re passionate about technology, problem-solving, and creating exceptional customer experiences.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and deliver technical product solutions that address customer needs and showcase the value of Lithic’s platform.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and technical teams to develop tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze customer challenges, identify best use cases, and develop effective solutions.
  • Provide domain expertise and insights to guide internal decision-making and identify opportunities for future product development.
  • Develop deep expertise in card issuance and processing, becoming a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams.
  • Become a Lithic product expert, capable of demonstrating and articulating the value of our platform with confidence and clarity.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing role focused on implementing payments solutions.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FinTech, particularly in payments, card issuance, or financial services technologies.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and complex technical concepts, with the ability to translate them into clear, actionable insights for customers.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to translate technical information into clear business language to different internal stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills: comfortable and confident presenting to external teams technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong product sense, concept explanation, and technical acumen: familiarity with APIs and technical concepts.
  • A well-rounded contributor with strong product sense, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful, user-facing solutions.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results.

The annual US salary range for this role is $170,000 - $225,000 plus equity. The range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the variable target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Lithic and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

NYC-based employees work from our SoHo office three days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are our core days, and you'll choose a third day that works for your schedule and team needs.
