Company Description

Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often specialists and medical services are overwhelmed with referrals and the painstakingly manual process it takes to qualify your referral prevents them from getting around to it on time, or sometimes at all. Tennr prevents these delays and denials by making sure every referral gets where it needs to go, with the right info, at the right time. Powered by RaeLM™ Tennr reads, extracts, and acts on every piece of patient information so providers can capture more referrals, slash denials, and reduce delays.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Special Projects (Growth) leader to turn ambiguous growth opportunities into clear plans and shipped results. You’ll play a key role on the Growth team, working closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Operations to launch new verticals, stand up channel partnerships, and run funnel experiments that accelerate pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Own zero-to-one growth initiatives from problem definition through pilot and handoff, creating playbooks others can run.

  • Map and prioritize new specialty verticals (ICP, buyer map, value props, proof points) and launch go-to-market plans.

  • Design and run growth experiments across the referral funnel; baseline performance, hypothesize, test, and report measurable lift.

  • Source, evaluate, and pilot channel partnerships (EMR, RCM, payers, clearinghouses, provider groups) and operationalize co-sell or referral pathways.

  • Build the enablement layer (decks, one-pagers, ROI models, case studies) to support Sales and CS; ensure clean handoffs to owners.

  • Instrument analytics with spreadsheets/BI and light SQL; deliver crisp weekly readouts and executive-ready narratives.

  • Drive cross-functional delivery by writing clear briefs/PRDs, aligning stakeholders, and hitting agreed timelines.

Candidate Qualifications

Required

  • 3–7+ years across BizOps, Growth, RevOps, Business Development, Chief of Staff, or Start Up Founder style work, or top-tier management consulting with operating exposure.

  • Proven track record taking projects from ambiguity to shipped outcomes with clear commercial impact.

  • Strong analytical toolkit (advanced spreadsheets; comfort with SQL or BI a plus) and experiment design mindset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; can turn complexity into simple plans and executive-grade docs.

  • High ownership, bias to action, and ability to context-switch across GTM, Product, and Operations.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare operations or integrations (EMR/RCM, payer connectivity, referral workflows).

  • Background in document intelligence, automation/RPA, or data platforms.

  • Familiarity with GTM systems (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar) and enablement tooling.

  • Prior early-stage experience standing up new verticals, partner motions, or pricing/packaging pilots.

Why Tennr?
  • Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact.

  • Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure

  • Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you’ll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.

  • Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Chelsea office 4 days/week (preferred)

  • Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.

Benefits
  • New, spacious Chelsea office

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 100% paid employee health benefit options

  • Employer-funded 401(k) match

  • Competitive parental leave
