Job Description

ROLE: Specialist, FAST/AVOD Partnerships Marketing

Reporting to the Director, the Specialist will play a critical role in shaping the ongoing marketing strategy for A+E's rapidly expanding portfolio of 75+ FAST channels across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM, while also supporting the AVOD business. This role also offers opportunities to contribute across broader partnership marketing initiatives.

The Specialist is responsible for identifying, pitching, securing, and tracking high-value partner opportunities that drive earned media, platform visibility, and audience growth. These opportunities may include first-screen placements, platform features, editorial collections, seasonal stunts, title-level support, channel promotion, brand collaborations, and other marketplace-driven merchandising and promotional initiatives. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence, the Specialist develops strategic marketing campaigns, builds strong partner relationships, executes cross-channel initiatives, and measures campaign performance to support key business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Specialist, FAST/AVOD Partnerships Marketing

Partner Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Support the development and execution of partner marketing strategies across FAST, AVOD, and emerging distribution opportunities.
• Translate business priorities, content priorities, and platform opportunities into actionable marketing plans, promotional calendars, and campaign recommendations.
• Identify, pitch, secure, and track high-value partner opportunities.
• Support planning processes and partner prioritization to maximize visibility, audience engagement, and business impact.

Partner Relationship Management

• Serve as a day-to-day marketing contact for assigned platform partners, building strong relationships that support collaboration and promotional opportunities.
• Develop and deliver compelling partner presentations, marketing pitches, campaign recaps, and promotional recommendations tailored to partner priorities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of partner merchandising capabilities, promotional formats, and business objectives while proactively identifying new opportunities to increase visibility for A+E content.

Promotional Placement & Campaign Execution
• Partner cross-functionally with Programming, Creative, Operations, Research, and Brand Marketing to execute partner marketing campaigns, channel launches, and promotional opportunities.
• Coordinate campaign execution, asset delivery, promotional calendars, and timelines to ensure successful launches across partner platforms.
• Ensure campaigns and placements align with business priorities, promotional objectives, and partner requirements.

Cross-Functional Alignment
• Build strong partnerships across internal teams to align marketing priorities, campaign execution, creative needs, and promotional timelines. Surface timely solutions that drive visibility and deepen long-term collaboration.
• Prepare presentations, partner updates, and campaign recaps that clearly articulate marketing strategies, results, and future opportunities.
• Represent the team in partner and internal meetings with professionalism, confidence, and a solutions-oriented approach.

Performance Tracking & Promotional Value
• Track partner marketing activity, earned media, promotional placements, campaign performance, and key business metrics to evaluate success and identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain partner trackers, scorecards, reporting materials, and campaign documentation to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
• Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitive activity, sharing insights and recommendations that inform future marketing strategies and partner opportunities.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Specialist, FAST/AVOD Partnerships Marketing

  • 3+ years of experience in entertainment, marketing, or streaming — in a fast-paced, partner-centric environment.
  • Knowledge of media, entertainment, streaming, FAST channels, AVOD/SVOD licensing, DTO, DTC partner environments, audience development, or multiplatform distribution businesses preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience presenting plans to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven success in driving earned media, building lasting partner relationships, and influencing platform support through compelling marketing.
  • A team-first, solutions-driven mindset with strong communication and presentation skills — able to lead conversations, not just support them.
  • Strategic agility with the ability to hold both the long-term vision and short-term executional detail; experienced in problem-solving through multiple lenses and adapting approaches as business needs evolve.
  • A collaborative and flexible work style — comfortable managing multiple timelines, people, and evolving priorities in quick turnaround environments.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using campaign data to measure outcomes, inform strategy, and report impact.
