About the role:

The Specialist, Influence Project Management supports the execution and optimization of CHANEL’s influencer and social media initiatives within the Fragrance & Beauty division. This role is ideal for an organized, agile, and creative individual with strong campaign management skills. As a key partner to internal teams, agencies, and external collaborators, you will ensure seamless project flow, compliance, and high-quality execution across all influencer and social media activities.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:

Social Media & Partner Management

  • Maintain and update product launch and seeding calendars; share with internal and external partners to ensure alignment
  • Manage daily posting on CHANEL-owned social media platforms, ensuring content is timely and brand-aligned
  • Liaison for collaboration posts with key partners, providing timelines, posting requirements (date, time, affiliate links, suggested copy, technical specs), and ensuring quality uploads
  • Actively track user-generated content (UGC) using management tools; organize and archive content for future posting
  • Maintain and update contact databases (CRM), including address changes and social handles
  • Coordinate PR mailing lists, monitor delivery, and confirm receipt of influencer packages
  • Schedule and facilitate appointments between key beauty experts and influencers, encouraging collaborative content creation
  • Maintain influencer tracking tools (e.g., Lefty) for each activation: set-up, clean-up, and collaborate with influencer marketing agencies/internal stakeholders for campaign analysis and reporting
  • Maintain internal dashboards with affiliate platforms (e.g., ShopMy, LTK), identify key performance drivers, and coordinate dashboard updates with agency partners
  • Track contract days for all contractual partnerships; keep team informed of timelines and deliverables
  • Ensure full compliance with brand, FTC, and third-party guidelines across all influencer activities, especially for high-target CHANEL partners

Administrative & Project Support

  • Process and track invoices via Coupa, including setting up new vendors for billing
  • Maintain daily budget tracking, raise flags for under- or overspending, and provide quarterly updates to the team
  • Manage Legal service agreements and Partner with Legal on contracts for influencer partnerships (Beauty Experts, Influencers, Content Creators); manage DocuSign process and partnership tracking
  • Coordinate and submit creative briefs to local AD teams to support influencer seedings and events
  • Help create PowerPoint presentations with information from senior leaders on an ad hoc basis

Technical Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for creating clean, professional reports and presentations
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro preferred
  • Expertise with top social media platforms and a solid understanding of photo and video content specifications
  • Quick to learn and master analytic/reporting tools (e.g., Lefty, Emplifi, Tribe)
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs; able to analyze data and identify key trends and partners in the beauty and social media landscape

Position Logistics:

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media, either in-house or at a creative agency
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed knowledge of product and brand
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Agile and flexible, with an enthusiasm for the dynamic world of social media
  • Social media trendspotting and a creative, forward-thinking mindset
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient note taker and avid learner with meticulous attention to detail

Compensation:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,400 through $92,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
