Position Overview
The Specialist, Product Marketing plays a key role in shaping and driving the Love & Celebration category, supporting the evolution of both new and existing collections. This role combines strong product and analytical expertise with a deep understanding of the diamond and bridal category, translating strategy into impactful product recommendations, storytelling, and retail execution. Working in close partnership with cross-functional teams, the Specialist contributes to building a balanced, high-performing portfolio that enhances desirability, elevates client experience, and drives commercial performance.
Key Accountabilities
New Product Support
- Owns and drives the maintenance of product calendars, mappings, and category architectures, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all stages of development
- Analyzes portfolio performance (classification, price points, and trends) to inform product recommendations and support assortment evolution
- Contributes to new product development through research, competitive analysis, and proactive recommendations
- Proactively identifies opportunities to strengthen the portfolio, balancing innovation, core icons, and commercial performance
Pricing Support
- Supports pricing strategy with an understanding of category-specific dynamics, including IR (Individually Registered) diamonds
- Assists in modeling pricing scenarios for IR (Individually Registered) diamonds, reflecting their unique, non-linear valuation by integrating stone characteristics (carat, cut, clarity, color), market benchmarks, and client value perception to support pricing accuracy and AUR optimization
- Supports manager with model pricing scenarios and validating pricing based on sales volume and margin drivers, particularly within the bridal category
Lifecycle Management & Supporting Projects
- Leads the development of insights, reports, and presentations on product performance, trends, and competitive landscape
- Conducts regular competitor field research and translates findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Supports lifecycle planning by identifying opportunities for optimization, evolution, or discontinuation
- Ensures strong follow-up and tracking across projects, bringing clarity and actionable insights to support decision-making
Cross-Functional Communication
- Supports in maintaining the various architectures, sales, and sales reports and presentations
- Supports communication efforts with internal teams, with strong data to get the right message across.
- Owns a strong understanding of the product portfolio and target audience, actively monitoring market trends and maintaining close collaboration with Sales Merchandising and Retail to bring actionable insights and drive value
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience, ideally in product marketing, merchandising, or a luxury category
- Strong understanding of the diamond and bridal category, including client journey and product storytelling
- Sensitivity to luxury client experience, selling rituals, and emotional drivers of purchase
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear messaging
- Ability to work independently and navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high level of ownership
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IR (Individually Registered) diamonds and the fundamentals of diamond valuation
- Experience with PLM tools
The hiring range for this position ranges from $77,010 - $104,190. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
