ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer / BI Developer with a strong focus on SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to design, develop, and maintain data integration and reporting solutions. The role primarily involves building robust ETL processes, with additional responsibilities in reporting (SSRS) and multidimensional analytics (SSAS).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Optimize and troubleshoot SSIS workflows to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
- Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, and functions
- Create and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and data-driven subscriptions
- Support and enhance SSAS multidimensional cubes, including dimensions, measures, and aggregations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and data integration requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytical solutions
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and reporting solutions
- Participate in deployments, upgrades, and ongoing support of BI solutions
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Advanced proficiency in SSIS (primary and most critical skill)
- Solid experience with SSRS for report development and maintenance
- Working knowledge of SSAS (Multidimensional) for cube development and reporting
- Strong T-SQL skills (queries, performance tuning, indexing)
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
- Ability to analyze data issues and provide effective solutions
- Experience with .NET
