Paradigm is seeking a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist to support our client with complex Legal Services data projects. This role is ideal for a senior SQL professional with advanced T-SQL development, strong analytical problem-solving skills, experience working with large data sets, and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to business stakeholders.

As a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist you will:
- Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems
- Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets
- Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements
- Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project
- Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements
- Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- 10+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases
- Advanced or expert-level experience developing T-SQL code
- Strong experience tuning T-SQL queries and optimizing database server performance
- Experience performing complex data analysis on large data sets
- 5+ years of experience leading the development of technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through under-defined problems
- Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet business needs
- Excellent communication skills with peers, managers, and business stakeholders
- Comfortable in consultative conversations and able to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
