Job Summary & Responsibilities

Title: Senior Account Executive

Brands: DK Handbags

Location (On-Site - 5 Days): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District


Responsibilities

· Responsible for managing accounts

· Cultivate relationships with external retail partners (i.e. buyers, planners, field team)

· Organize market appointments and weekly/monthly business meetings with accounts

· Partner with merchandiser to assort buys and create merchandise strategies

· Present product line and sell to accounts during market appointments

· Determine in season price strategies for accounts and communicate to internal sales and field team

· Partner with visual merchants to create merchandising directives for accounts and internal field team

· Analyze data for missed sales opportunities (i.e. classification, location and merchandise)

· Recap daily, weekly and seasonal selling reports and distribute to sales, design and merchandising

· Communicate product needs by account to design and merchandising

· Execute brand initiatives i.e. marketing, replenishment, product strategy, fixture packages

· Create and execute top line financial plans and location plans by account

· Manage order maintenance i.e. create batch sheets, review orders for accuracy/over sold units

· Replace dollars lost due to cancels or oversold units

· Manage inventory by plant

· Create seasonal bookings report to track actual bookings and projections

· Visit stores to look at competition and product execution



Qualifications

  • 6+ years of industry experience
  • Must be PROFICIENT in Excel
  • BA required

The pay for this position is: $125,000 per year.
