Who We Are

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is the leading entertainment and sports agency, with global expertise in filmed and live entertainment, digital media, publishing, sponsorship sales and endorsements, licensing, media finance, consumer investing, fashion, trademark licensing, and philanthropy.  Distinguished by its culture of collaboration and exceptional client service, CAA’s diverse workforce identifies, innovates, and amplifies opportunities for the people and organizations that shape culture and inspire the world.  The trailblazer of the agency business, CAA was the first to build a sports business, create an investment bank, launch a venture fund, found technology start-up companies, establish a philanthropic arm, build a business in China, and form a brand marketing services division, among other innovations.

The Role

This is a leadership-level role for someone who still needs to be in the work, can shape bold ideas, build powerful partnerships, think in 360 campaigns and bring energy to everything they touch.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a sharp strategic platform, sparking ideas in a room, connecting dots across sports, entertainment and pop-culture that make connections and power opportunities for brands. They love being in the work: thinking, making, selling, building, consulting and delivering.

Create, Not Just Direct

  • Be hands-on in ideation, concepting, and storytelling… this is a thinking-and-making role.

  • Push ideas from conception to completion adhering to tight deadlines but ensuring creative excellence .

  • Bring clarity, momentum, and ambition to creative work.

Power Partnerships & Opportunities

  • Spot cultural moments, emerging platforms, and partnership opportunities before others do.

  • Connect brands to sports, entertainment, talent, and culture in ways that feel natural, exciting, and valuable.

  • Work closely with account teams to help turn ideas into sold work and long-term client growth.

Build Relationships

  • Be a trusted creative partner to senior client stakeholders.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with partners, key stakeholders, talent, creators, and agencies.

  • Bring people together around ideas… clients, creatives, strategists, and producers alike.

Lead Through Energy & Influence

  • Inspire teams (accounts, creative and client) through enthusiasm, curiosity, and belief in the work.

  • Reflect a culture where ideas are pushed further and ambition is encouraged.

  • Act as a senior voice internally, helping shape the creative reputation of the agency.

  • Identify and turbo-charge internal organic growth opportunities within our current client roster.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or similar discipline preferred.

  • 10-12+ years creative experience with at least 5+ years’ experience in creative strategy, creative leadership, and/or partnership strategy within sports marketing, entertainment marketing, brand partnerships/ sponsorship, and creative agencies.

  • Proven track record of developing and leading big ideas, platforms, and partnerships.

  • Comfortable working with senior clients and stakeholders.

  • Experience working across multiple disciplines (strategy, creative, partnerships, content, experience).

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete designs.

  • Entrepreneurial by nature: you see opportunities versus limitations.

  • Culturally fluent: deeply connected to sports and entertainment.

  • A natural relationship builder: warm, credible, and trusted in any room.
