We’re not just building better tech. We’re rewriting how data moves and what the world can do with it. With Confluent, data doesn’t sit still. Our platform puts information in motion, streaming in near real-time so companies can react faster, build smarter, and deliver experiences as dynamic as the world around them.

It takes a certain kind of person to join this team. Those who ask hard questions, give honest feedback, and show up for each other. No egos, no solo acts. Just smart, curious humans pushing toward something bigger, together.

One Confluent. One Team. One Data Streaming Platform.

About the Role:

Thousands of customers use Confluent Cloud each and every day to put data in motion. As the Sr. Director of Product Management for Cloud Kafka, you will lead a team of product managers in developing and growing Confluent’s flagship cloud product.

At the heart of Confluent Cloud Kafka is our cloud-native streaming engine called Kora. Kora already gives our customers a faster, more elastic, cloud-native experience. Now you will lead the creation of next-generation Kora capabilities and turn them into amazing products for our customers.

This role reports directly to the VP of Product and leads our Cloud Kafka product management team.

What You Will Do:
  • Work closely with the VP of Product and other Product Leaders to grow Confluent Cloud and align its roadmap with our strategic company goals.

  • Work closely with customers and the field to inform Cloud’s strategy and roadmap.

  • Coach the Cloud Kafka product management team to ensure they are growing their careers and enabled to do their best work.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize and address the needs of our customers and take new Cloud features and capabilities to market.

What You Will Bring:
  • A minimum of 8 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B and with developer-focused products

  • 6+ years of leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

What Gives You an Edge:
  • Experience building and growing infrastructure cloud services.
