JOB DESCRIPTION

At Fox Ad Sales, we are committed to staying ahead of the competition by leveraging data-driven insights to navigate the dynamic media landscape. We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader, as well as a great storyteller to join our team as the Senior Director, Revenue Analytics & Insights.

The Senior Director, Revenue Analytics and Insights will be instrumental in enhancing our revenue analytics capabilities and developing actionable insights that propel our business forward. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a robust analytical background who can transform complex data into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making at the highest levels.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Together with the VP, develop a data-driven marketplace model, analyzing market trends and the competitive landscape using a diverse range of sources, including internal data and market reports, to identify strategic implications for our business.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on ad marketplace category drivers, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Proactively generate insights to capitalize on market opportunities and enhance revenue growth.

  • Conduct forward-looking analyses, including assessing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the sports and entertainment streaming marketplace.

  • Translate complex analyses into actionable insights, crafting clear narratives and visualizations that effectively communicate value and secure buy-in from business leaders.

  • Partner with Ad Product team to provide guidance on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both category and brand insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Manage and mentor 1-2 direct reports, supporting their career development through mentoring, training opportunities, and performance feedback.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

  • 7-10 years of experience in revenue analytics, media, or ad sales, with a proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth.

  • Expertise in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau).

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into strategic insights.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong writing skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $140,000.00-187,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
