Support the spare performance improvement activities with multi-functional groups, including TD, MFG, GP and internal OCT teams to meet Global Operation's Strategies Programs -Cost/Scale/Quality/Cycle Time (Speed) goal. Provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance to Fab area teams to create and/or identify the best solutions, solve existing solutions, and deploy new solutions. Promote worldwide sharing and transfer of area-specific domain knowledge. Lead or drive standardization between sites regarding spare management issue, reports, and systems through the System Workforce Allocation Team (SWAT) or other appropriate means. Monitor and communicate progress to collaborators. Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders. Develop and execute predictive maintenance strategies to extend spare part lifetimes. Lead cross-site benchmarking programs and CCRR (Cost, Consumption, Reliability, Risk) initiatives. Collaborate with global stakeholders to align spares strategies and deployment plans. Address complex integration challenges in DRAM/NAND manufacturing environments. Develop strategies for risk mitigation and supply continuity. Create dashboards for KPI monitoring and cost pathfinding.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Driving cost-reduction initiatives through Should-Cost modeling and supplier negotiations.
2. Implementing Value Engineering (VE) programs for high-value spares categories.
3. Analyzing failure modes and integrating PdM into global spares planning.
4. Designing and implementing solutions for FOAK (First-of-a-Kind) spares applications in advanced nodes.
5. Qualifying alternate suppliers for critical spares while maintaining technical compliance.
6. Utilizing analytics and machine learning for spares performance prediction.
