What you will do

The Innovation Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in maximizing sustainable growth and contributing to deliver the Company shareholder value goal for the portfolio of self care brands and Global Listerine. This position will partner with the US local or global marketing teams and cross functional teams including customer strategy, R&D, and supply chain, and provide strategic and financial leadership in shaping and achieving financials goals including monthly/quarterly segment performance, and supporting the three-year operating plan (3YOP). In addition, the role is responsible for leading and shaping innovation and business development initiatives through influencing cross functional resource allocation decisions to successfully deliver growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership for the brand development team:

  • Partner with Innovation leads and cross functional teams to shape the strategic growth agenda and deliver profitable growth for key priority markets
  • Track progress on key strategic initiatives throughout the year
  • Support 3YOP

Financial Analysis for innovation pipeline and business development initiatives:

  • Lead business case analysis for big bets, ensure adherence to hurdle rates, work with the team to deliver the full potential of projects
  • Partner with portfolio management team and commercial team to shape innovation agenda and prioritize resources behind largest big bets

Financial Planning and Reporting:

  • Support brand marketing expense budgets, ensure controls are in plan
  • Support Global Brand reporting and analytics in support of the VPs of global brands

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of finance/accounting or related business experience is required
  • A CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certification(s) are preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) experience required
  • Strong general business acumen and technical skills in forecasting, accounting, and investment analytics (i.e. NPV, etc..) are required.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with business partners across organizational levels while balancing a complex portfolio of products in a cross-functional environment is required.
  • Experience building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to various levels of the organization is preferred.
  • Strong framing, communication, and influencing skills are required.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$90,100.00 - $127,200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
