As a Senior HR Business Partner at Carbon Robotics, you will play a critical role in shaping the people strategy that enables our teams to do their best work. You’ll partner closely with leaders to build high-performing teams, scale people programs, and create an environment where employees can thrive.

This role blends strategic partnership and hands-on execution. You’ll work across the organization to drive initiatives related to talent development, performance, organizational design, and employee experience while helping leaders navigate growth and change. You’ll also help evolve the People function as the company continues to scale.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with leaders to align people strategy with business goals, supporting organizational growth and team effectiveness
  • Lead and support core People programs including performance management, employee engagement, benefits, and career development initiatives
  • Partner with HR leadership to build scalable HR programs, policies, and processes to support a rapidly growing organization
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers on leadership, performance management, employee relations, and team development
  • Partner with recruiting and hiring managers to deliver a strong onboarding experience
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve the employee experience
  • Support a culture of transparency, accountability, and inclusion across teams
  • Contribute to People team initiatives such as HRIS implementation, program design, and process improvements as the company grows

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

  • 6–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including time supporting leaders as an HR Business Partner in high-growth environments
  • Experience working in high growth startups or scaling companies
  • Strong ability to influence, coach, and partner with leaders across the organization
  • Experience building or improving people programs and processes in evolving environments. Experience in Talent Development and Total Compensation programs is highly preferred.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-moving company
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience implementing or scaling an HRIS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted.  The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:
$135,000$165,000 USD
