Job Description

The Sr. Infra Specialist within Service Integration and Delivery team will work closely with client’s application development teams and produce technical solutions based on requirements as well as standards available through service teams. In-depth integration expertise covering wide spectrum of infrastructure areas such as hosting, cloud services, OS platforms, database and middleware is essential to provide value add system integration services to the application development teams. 

Responsibilities:

Provide level 3 systems administration support for incidents and problems in Linux server environment.

Gather and analyze requirements from development teams to provide an optimized infrastructure solution to deploy in the supported cloud environment

Work with application development and infrastructure teams in migrating systems from legacy environment to new cloud

Participate in capacity planning and developing specifications for infrastructure supporting new application or change in the application.

Participate in high availability and disaster recovery configuration, testing and automation for the business applications.

 Required skills and qualifications:

 • 8-10 years system integration expertise in working in a mid to large size corporations

• High degree of integration skills in hardware, OS (Linux, Windows), network, virtualization, database, middleware platforms

• Experience with High Availability and disaster recovery solution design

• Strong knowledge in networking technologies (DNS, FTP, SSH, Apache, SSL, F5 LTM, GTM)

• Strong knowledge with Linux, Redhat 6 & 7 running blade systems and VMware environment

• Proven experience in evaluating and architecting vendor solutions for enterprise class organizations

• Good understanding of public cloud offering in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS space

• Ability to manage multiple infrastructure programs and projects

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• B.S. – Computer Science or equivalent discipline
