Role

The Cúram team within Merative has been streamlining and supporting the delivery and administration of social welfare across the world for over 30 years. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead large-scale, client-facing implementations with national significance delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget while aligning outcomes to client goals and Merative profitability targets. An essential part of this role includes driving pricing and profitability strategy for Cúram offerings by partnering with Sales, Services, Operations, and Finance to support sustainable growth, healthy margins, and consistent pricing across deals and markets.

Impact

  • Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, change control, risks, and communications across the full lifecycle to meet or exceed expectations.

  • Ensure deliverables adhere to agreed terms and conditions and achieve approved profit and loss thresholds; provide regular status reporting and escalate issues with solution options.

  • Drive pricing and deal management by supporting profitability analysis, integrating Year-to-Year (YtY) cost rates into pricing models, coordinating deal structure with Deal Desk, and maintaining governance over pricing, discount, and margin guidelines across markets.

Required Qualifications for Success

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience (preferably in a software development environment) with a strong track record of delivering on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Demonstrated success managing global, cross-functional teams in a multi-vendor, agile working environment; strong judgment, decision-making, and problem resolution skills.

  • Proven experience in client-facing delivery, negotiation and conflict resolution, and clear written/verbal communication with senior stakeholders; proficiency with delivery tools (e.g., MS Teams, Jira, Confluence) and quality management systems.

  • Proven success collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive profitable growth; solid business and financial acumen; Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working on government projects and/or within FDA-regulated environments.

  • PMP® certification and SCRUM (or other recognized Project Management certification).

  • Ability to support operational improvements that reduce deal turnaround time, manual effort, and operational risk (e.g., SKU/service code structure and systems alignment).

  • Remote position with expected travel of 15–30%.
