How you’ll LEAD:

The Sr. Manager, Technology Enablement will shape how teams across UMG discover, adopt, and extract value from the tools that power our creative and operational workflows. In this hands-on and strategic role, you will guide the end-to-end application intake process, ensuring transparency, compliance, and alignment with enterprise priorities. You will serve as a trusted advisor and internal consultant — helping teams determine when to leverage existing platforms and when to introduce new solutions. Your leadership will influence how employees engage with technology, fostering confidence, clarity, and meaningful connection to our evolving digital ecosystem.

How you’ll CREATE:

Software Application Intake, Evaluation & Onboarding

  • Lead the complete software intake lifecycle, from initial request and business justification through approval, procurement, and onboarding.

  • Establish and manage a centralized intake workflow that enhances transparency, efficiency, and user experience.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Procurement, Security, Privacy, and Legal to evaluate platforms for compliance, usability, scalability, and strategic fit.

  • Serve as an internal consultant to guide teams on when to adopt existing tools versus exploring net-new applications.

  • Support budgeting and financial assessment, including license models, usage tiers, and ROI considerations.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and standardized processes for software onboarding.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and optimize the broader software lifecycle management process.

  • Apply strategic, analytical evaluation to incoming requests, ensuring technology decisions balance innovation, cost efficiency, and long-term value.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted technology partner to employees at all levels, including senior executives and high-profile internal clients.

  • Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver seamless and thoughtful enablement experiences.

  • Represent Technology Enablement in steering committees, planning forums, and cross-functional discussions.

  • Advocate for users by translating insights and feedback into actionable product, process, and experience improvements.

User Enablement & Adoption Programs

  • Champion a user-first mindset that empowers employees to confidently adopt and maximize new tools.

  • Build and manage enablement programs, including training, onboarding content, and ongoing learning initiatives.

  • Facilitate community forums, webinars, office hours, and other collaborative spaces that connect users and accelerate adoption.

  • Cultivate engaged user communities around key technology platforms by sharing best practices, success stories, and quick wins.

  • Collaborate closely with product owners and support teams to continuously refine and improve user experiences.

  • Create dashboards, metrics, and reporting that track adoption, satisfaction, and enablement effectiveness.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage enablement and technical needs for high-visibility company events, executive functions, and webcasts.

Bring your VIBE:
  • A curious, creative, and analytical mindset with a genuine passion for helping people get the most out of technology.

  • A strong communicator and connector who is equally effective in technical discussions and creative problem-solving.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with exceptional follow-through and prioritization skills.

  • Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments and bridging gaps between teams to turn complexity into clarity.

  • A service-oriented, community-building approach that inspires confidence and fosters engagement.

  • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar applications and translate their value to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology enablement, product management, digital transformation, or creative operations.

  • Experience evaluating tools, running pilots, and managing onboarding across multiple business units.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of business stakeholders.

  • Background in building training programs, enablement content, or user communities to drive tool adoption.

  • Comfort working across both creative and technical workflows.

  • Strong executive presence and confidence engaging with senior leaders and high-profile internal customers.

  • Ability to travel as needed, including internationally.
