Introduction

iRobot is seeking a talented Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing Platform to drive and deliver a best-in-class Marketing experience on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform and other iRobot Martech solutions. This is a critical role on our Digital Technology team to drive increased customer engagement and DTC revenue, working closely with a diverse and exciting mix of talented professionals responsible for iRobot’s global ecosystem.
The successful candidate will be both strategic and hands-on: able to translate business priorities into platform roadmaps, lead a team and vendors, improve governance and adoption, and support day-to-day platform operations when needed.
In addition to having laser focus on producing outstanding capabilities for our customers, the successful candidate will be comfortable leading an evolving team while getting as excited as we do to steer a global leader in consumer robotics to new heights in Digital!

What You Will Do:

  • Own and deliver the MarTech roadmap, with Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the primary platform and accountability for supporting technologies and integrations.
  • Partner with Marketing, Commercial, DTC/eCommerce, Data & Analytics, and IT stakeholders to prioritize platform capabilities that improve customer engagement, campaign execution, personalization, and DTC revenue enablement.
  • Lead complex MarTech programs, including customer journeys, target audiences, automations, email campaigns, personalization capabilities, and multi-region/multi-language requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear product/platform priorities, delivery plans, resource needs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as the platform owner and subject matter expert for MarTech capabilities, operating model, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain platform health, stability, access governance, release readiness, and operational support processes across the MarTech ecosystem.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for day-to-day Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations, troubleshooting, incident coordination, and new capability enablement.
  • Partner with QA, release management, security, and compliance teams to support development releases, change controls, and production readiness.
  • Lead recurring roadmap and operations forums with Marketing, Commercial, and technology stakeholders to align priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery status.
  • Communicate platform status, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions clearly to business and IT leadership.
  • Establish and maintain training materials, adoption practices, and a practical center-of-excellence model for global users.
  • Support change management and user adoption for new marketing technology capabilities and process improvements.
  • Manage vendors, implementation partners, Salesforce-related services, and supplier performance.
  • Manage budget responsibilities for Marketing Technology vendors, suppliers, licenses, and related platform services.
  • Influence vendor and internal product roadmaps to improve platform value, reduce operational friction, and support business priorities.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • 8+ years of Martech platform management experience with strong understanding of its functions and operations; Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience working on global and/or multi-language Martech technical implementations
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience managing resources and vendors
  • Experience working cross-functionally across a global org including Commercial and Marketing stakeholders, data engineers, across Digital, R&D and IT orgs.
  • Strong understanding of customer data, integration patterns, APIs, data quality, consent/privacy considerations, and platform governance.
  • You love building and enhancing marketing platforms and experiences, automated journeys, and driving strategy for improvement and iteration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs, roadmap priorities, risks, and status to both business and technology stakeholders.
  • You are strategic, action-oriented and are a self-starter. You identify and prioritize critical initiatives and can lead the charge from initiative to execution
  • Strong experience understanding technical aspects of DTC and business drivers
