What Are We Looking For?
  • We’re looking for an experienced, commercially-minded Senior Partner Manager to build and own Contentstack’s global agency partner motion.
  • This is a senior-level individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence. You’ll shape the agency partner strategy, build strategic relationships, create new go-to-market opportunities, and drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

  • If you’re excited by the opportunity to build a partner motion from the ground up, shape how we compete in the market, and make a measurable commercial impact, we’d love to hear from you! Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Own the agency go-to-market strategy end to end — including target partner profile, messaging, offerings, and growth plans — across a portfolio of global agencies such as Code & Theory, Omnicom, WPP, Dentsu/Merkle, Razorfish, and Monks.
  • Build and grow strategic agency relationships, expanding Contentstack’s footprint across existing partners and turning opportunistic, project-by-project relationships into long-term partnerships.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, with a focus on larger enterprise opportunities and increasing the mix of AXP-scale work.
  • Build the agency go-to-market messaging and offering, positioning Contentstack for marketing leaders and CMOs and helping agencies see where we can compete alongside — and against — enterprise suites like Adobe and Optimizely.
  • Partner with key ISVs to create a compelling better-together story and establish a mutual playbook around the Content Lifecycle demo and vision.
  • Represent Contentstack with agency leadership and their clients through joint activations, executive briefings, live demos, ContentCon, and other market-facing opportunities.
  • Help shape the broader partner organization by serving as a strategic resource on agency motions, messaging, and best practices.
What Really Gets Us Excited About You?
  • 8-12 years of experience in partner, alliances, or channel roles within enterprise SaaS, including at least 4 years working directly with global agencies or agency holding companies. Deep agency experience is critical.
  • Demonstrated experience selling with global agencies, not simply alongside them, and building agency-specific go-to-market motions. You understand why agency partnerships require a different play than GSI partnerships.
  • Proven experience turning opportunistic, project-by-project partner relationships into strategic, agreement-backed partnerships.
  • A balance of partner sales, product marketing, and strategy. You can build the relationship, develop the approach with the resources available, and articulate what we need next.
  • The ability to present a partner go-to-market plan and pitch Contentstack live and unscripted without relying on a Sales Engineer. This will be part of the interview process.
  • A track record of selling to and influencing CMOs and marketing leaders, not only technical buyers.
  • Experience positioning against enterprise suite incumbents such as Adobe and Optimizely, with the ability to apply lessons from both wins and losses.
  • Comfort operating without a finished playbook. You’ve built partner programs, messaging, and enablement from the ground up.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, and influence skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders across Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and the executive team.
  • Additional experience with headless CMS, DXP, DAM, retail/commerce, content operations, or partner marketing is a plus.
  • You’re comfortable with occasional travel.

Salary for this role ranges between $145,000-165,000 based on skill set and experience
