Job Description:
Deliver and maintain highly available, high volume, health information technology computing platforms, collecting, and transforming data from various sources, creating data integration services, building data products, and ensuring ongoing reliability, performance, and support of infrastructure in the healthcare context. Collaborate with other professionals and teams to implement functional requirements for new software or applications that support the unique needs of healthcare data, including clinical, operational, and patient data. Develop and implement policies or practices to ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of protected information. Analyze software to proactively identify and correct performance and scalability bottlenecks. Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements. Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc. Design and develop scalable systems in the cloud to store and retrieve information at significant scale. Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
and
Two years of experience in any occupation in (1) developing, debugging, and performance tuning scalable and highly available distributed systems, (2) employing problem-solving and analytical skills, and (3) distilling product requirements into comprehensive architectural plans and strategies or technical solutions.
and
One year of experience in any occupation (A) developing and optimizing algorithms, (B) data modeling and database design with document databases and/or relational databases at scale, and (C) launching and extracting microservices
and
Knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, AWS, application architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data security practices, including encryption, access controls, and Machine Learning.
