The Senior Product Marketing Manager will define messaging and positioning, lead go-to-market strategies for products, and collaborate across teams to drive product success and results.
The summary above was generated by AI

Since 2018, Wisetack has been building transparent and intuitive consumer lending products that help service-based businesses thrive (think HVAC companies, veterinarians, or auto repair shops).

Our leadership team comes from top fintech companies such as Lending Club, Affirm, and Varo Money. And we’re backed by leading VCs, including Insight Partners, Greylock, Quadrille, and Bain Capital Ventures (investors in Airbnb, LinkedIn, Instagram, Dropbox, and more).

Having raised $84M, we’re a well-funded startup and have invested in people and technology while growing our partnerships — responsibly.

We’re also proud to have received recognition from the fintech world. Awards we’ve won include:

  • Ranked #21 on 2024 Inc. 5000 based on revenue growth
  • Ranked #15 on 2024 Deloitte Fast 500 based on revenue growth
  • 2024 Best Embedded Finance Solution for Banking Tech Awards
  • 2023 Best Consumer Lending Program by Tearsheet
  • 2023 Best Point of Sale Product by Fintech Breakthrough

But what you’ll find us gleaming about the most is the recognition from our own customers, particularly our sky-high NPS rating of 79. (For reference, the average score is 44 for financial services and 36 for SaaS companies.)

As a result of our efforts in building this healthy company culture, we’ve been nominated to several Great Places to Work lists, such as Best Small Workplaces, Best Workplaces in the Bay Area, and Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance.

Like any startup, we’re in it for the long haul, and we’re looking for people willing to join our journey of building something special together.

This process starts with our company values, which guide us in everything we do — and have played a critical role in our success. We valiantly abide by them, and would expect you to do the same:

  • Put customers first (that’s our M.O.)
  • Act fast (leverage our startup environment).
  • Lead the way (show and tell).
  • Take ownership (everyone is hands-on here).
  • Be a good human (no egos, build financial products that do right by people).

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own how we talk about our products and to make sure that story actually drives results.

At Wisetack, we power financing for real-world home services. Think HVAC replacements, plumbing emergencies, new roofs. These are big, often urgent purchases. Contractors need a simple way to offer financing on the spot. Consumers need something fast, clear, and trustworthy.

Your job is to make sure our messaging reflects those moments.

This is not a “write some launch emails” role. You’ll set the strategy for how we position key parts of our product across enterprise partners, software platforms, and the merchants who use them. You’ll work closely with Product to shape what we build and how we bring it to market. You’ll connect the dots between what our product does and why it matters, in plain English.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, makes decisions, and cares about outcomes. Someone who can zoom out and set direction, but also roll up their sleeves and get a launch out the door.

Responsibilities
  • Own the messaging and positioning for major product areas. Make it clear, consistent, and easy for Sales, Partnerships, Account Management, and Marketing to use.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to ensure our website, campaigns, and lifecycle messaging clearly communicate our value and stand out in the market.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new features, integrations, and programs. From early planning through launch and follow-through, you’re accountable for results.
  • Work closely with Product to deeply understand how our financing and payments actually work — from application to funding, payouts, refunds, and everything in between — and translate that into simple, compelling stories.
  • Bring the voice of the merchant and the consumer into the room. Use customer calls, feedback, win/loss insights, and market research to influence product direction and priorities.
  • Align teams around what matters most. Get Sales, Partnerships, Account Management, Product, CX, and Marketing on the same page before and after launches.
  • Build enablement that people actually use, especially for large businesses and platform partners. You’re comfortable creating pitch decks, FAQs, case studies, battlecards, landing pages, loom videos, live training content, one-pagers (but not the dreaded PDF!), and more.
  • Map the full customer journey and work with Growth on lifecycle and trigger-based campaigns that drive activation, repeat usage, and competitive wins.
  • Track what’s working (and what’s not). Look at acquisition, adoption, and revenue impact, then adjust.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in fintech, payments, lending, or vertical SaaS.
  • You’ve owned positioning and go-to-market strategy for meaningful product areas, not just supported them.
  • You’re comfortable with technical products and can explain complex systems in a way that makes sense to non-experts.
  • You’ve worked cross-functionally and know how to influence without formal authority.
  • You’re confident presenting to leadership and can back up your recommendations with data and customer insight.
  • Strong writer and communicator. Clear beats clever.
  • High ownership mindset. You prioritize well and move things forward.
Bonus points
  • Fintech experience
  • Experience in home services, contractor tools, or field-service software.
  • Familiarity with consumer lending or point-of-sale financing.
Conclusion

The range of base salary for the position is between $133,300-$186,600, plus equity, and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
