Remote | Full-time | $275,000-$300,000

YOUR ROLE

At Enveda, we’re reinventing drug development: not just with our discovery and development platform, but also in our approach to culture and organization. Our Program Strategy & Operations (PSO) leaders are not simply trackers of timelines, they are strategic and operational copilots to the Asset Entrepreneurs driving their molecule. You will be the connective tissue across the single-threaded asset team, transforming rich, cross-functional information into sharper strategy, better decision-making with our C-suite, and faster, higher-quality execution, directly determining how quickly we bring our first-in-class natural-molecule-inspired medicines to the patients who need them most.
We think of this role as an Asset Entrepreneur in the making, bringing a founder mentality from the start; you will be judged on the speed and quality of the asset's decisions and the progress that follows, not on how many meetings you run. In this role, you will report to the Asset Entrepreneur and be accountable for:

  • Operating as a strategic thought partner to your Asset Entrepreneur, anticipating program inflection points, modeling backup and expansion scenarios, and helping determine when to accelerate, pivot, or pause aspects of the development plan based on data and risk.
  • Owning program execution end-to-end, operating like the COO of a single-asset biotech: rapidly identifying obstacles and doing whatever is needed to keep the program moving, be that coordinating across functions, rallying CRO partners, or designing dashboards to keep all aligned.
  • Translating complexity into clarity by distilling scientific, clinical, regulatory, and operational inputs into rigorous analytical insights and clearly communicated options for the Board and C-suite, including crisp, data-driven slides/memos.
  • Maintaining disciplined documentation and operational clarity, capturing key decisions, assumptions, and benchmarks while keeping dashboards, trackers, and updates accurate, accessible, and action-ready for asynchronous alignment.
  • Contributing to Enveda’s institutional intelligence and playbook, documenting benchmarks, best practices, and learnings that make each future program faster and smarter.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Longitudinal asset development from IND-enabling studies through commercial strategy
  • Full cross-functional operations, working shoulder-to-shoulder with clinical, translational, regulatory, CMC, and commercial experts
  • External engagement, selecting and managing our external vendors, advisors, and strategic partners, and building a presence among our disease area’s top thinkers
  • Board and investor engagement, embedding in our investor and business development (BD) processes and seeing first-hand how biotechs grow
  • Scientific storytelling, helping to discover, craft, and tell the narrative of new molecules that often bring novel biology into the therapeutic world, requiring substantial education of patients, clinicians, and investors
  • Company building and culture creation, as we write the playbook and growing body of operational knowledge in a nascent biotech on the path to a new, multi-disease, multi-mechanism commercial future.
  • In short, you’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, science, and operations, where decisions visibly move both the program and the company.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

If you’ve ever wished you could combine the discipline of program management with the strategic thinking, creativity and agency of a startup leader - and operate like the COO of a single-asset biotech – this is that opportunity.

You might be a fit if you are:

  • Experienced in biotech or pharma program management, portfolio or asset strategy, management consulting, or operations - and able to use this experience to help your program avoid missteps
  • Fluent with AI, using it from the start of your workflow not as a novelty, but as a multiplier of human judgment and creativity
  • A crisp communicator, able to synthesize information across disciplines to propose clear, compelling options, laid out in concise slides / memos supported by clear data analysis
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and make things happen yourself, when needed, regardless of title: gaps don’t linger in your perimeter and you can’t rest until they’re resolved
  • Used to thriving in ambiguity and moving fluidly between strategic vision and tactical execution
  • Emotionally intelligent, humble, and honest, leading through collaboration, not control
  • Intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, and can bring an optimism that lifts the team
  • We hire for trajectory, not just credentials. If you meet most of the above and care deeply about this problem, we want to hear from you.

This role is remote, though will necessarily involve travel on a roughly monthly basis to meet the team and key external stakeholders.
