Ping Identity Israel provides the next generation risk detection and management service, enabling frictionless and secured experiences for people all around the globe across any channel at any time.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Python Engineer at Ping Identity, you will build and scale backend systems that power identity services used globally. You will architect robust microservices, own data processing pipelines, and work directly with data scientists to productionize ML models at scale.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python microservices capable of handling hundreds of requests per minute
- Design, Optimize, and maintain Spark jobs for big data processing, ensuring high-performance.
- Work closely with data scientists to develop and deploy ML models.
- Take ownership of all aspects of the development cycle, including design, implementation, and deployment of backend and data pipelines
- Partner with data scientists to implement and optimize ML-powered risk detection algorithms in production.
- Ensure high system performance, reliability, and scalability, by continuously improving backend services and infrastructure
Job Requirements:
Required
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Microservices architecture in production
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment of services and automated workflows.
- Cloud exposure
Preferred
- Deep understanding of data architecture and processing pipelines, with experience in handling large-scale data
- Experience with Redis & Kafka - advantage
- Experience with AWS Sagemaker - advantage
