About the Role:

We are looking for a Sensor SDET  to join our growing team within Falcon Exposure Management  Product Group.  This position will develop automation and build tools that accurately ensure the quality, reliability and accuracy of our large scale cloud-based cybersecurity systems for our products. If you are a hands-on Test Automation Engineer/ SDET who wants to operate at scale, apply & let's talk!

 

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the sensor engineering and product management  team to understand product architecture and functionality.

  • Understand end-to-end testing requirements and maintain test plans for functionality and system testing.

  • Strongly contribute to Test Case/Test script writing.

  • Contribute to Test Automation Framework Development/Enhancements

  • Participate in the creation and enhancement of the continuous integration platform used to test all our products.

  • Communicate test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in a timely manner.

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end testing efforts to plan, design, execute and report the delivery of the features

  • Manage, design, review test plans and provide accurate forecast of QA resource & effort estimations for deliverables

  • Must be able to pivot testing focus based on the priorities to align with business objectives and manage expectations.

  • Assist with classification and triage of defects/issues to prioritize, isolate, replicate and support resolution in JIRA

What You'll Need:

  • 11+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) manual plus automation role in product based  companies.

  • Strong experience and proficiency in working with  Windows, Linux (various distros) and mac platforms 

  • Proven and strong experience in automation framework design

  • Solid experience in OOP, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.

  • Knowledge in Window OS internals and debugging tools

  • Knowledge of MacOS and Linux OS internals

  • Demonstrated ability to understand high-quality C/C++  code

  • Demonstrated ability to write Python/GoLang  code

  • Experience in performance, scalability and longevity tests will be an added advantage

  • Big plus if candidate can diagnose win/mac/linux crash dumps

  • Big plus if the candidate can diagnose sensor test breaks from pipeline

  • Experience working with Web Services – JSON or REST / gRPC / RPC / XML.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery systems like Atlassian, Jenkins, etc.

  • Productivity - GIT, Stash, Bamboo, JIRA.

  • Must have experience with Web application and API testing.

  • Knowledge on shell scripting, powershell scripting, osquery, nmap etc will be preferred

  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword driven) and tools ( PyTest, Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium etc).

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $215,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
