Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist who is a data-driven decision maker and marketing enthusiast to help drive our email marketing program. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deploy technically-advanced email campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive business results. With a passion to dive deep, this candidate has a strong technical background and project management skills with attention to detail, and a track record of transforming email marketing performance data into digestible, actionable insights. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, and CRM teams to create advanced customer journeys, automated workflows, dynamic content, and system integrations. The ideal candidate is an expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools, scripting languages, and marketing automation best practices.

The Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist will report to the Senior Director, Relationship Marketing (CRM).

(The salary for this role is $95K - $110k.)

TECHNICAL EXECUTION

  • Advanced experience building, managing, and optimizing email campaigns specifically within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Hands-on experience leveraging Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, and Content Builder to deploy personalized, dynamic campaign flows and automations and create advanced multi-step customer journeys
  • Create and troubleshoot automated workflows and data processes to support real-time, triggered messaging
  • Proficient with building Data Extensions, conducting data imports and exports, and utilizing AMPscript to populate personalized attributes into emails
  • Support integration with Marketing Cloud Connect and integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM for triggered sends and real-time personalization
  • Expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud data architecture, including Contact Builder, Data Extensions, and Data Views
  • Working knowledge of html, CSS, AMPscript, and responsive design

EMAIL TRAFFIC AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Submit creative briefs and partner with cross-functional teams to take emails from concept to delivery
  • Help develop and maintain the monthly/quarterly email content calendar in collaboration with creative and marketing teams
  • Proficiency in Figma for email design collaboration, proofing, and QA
  • Thoroughly QA all email assets (email lists, subject lines, content blocks, links, dynamic fields, and imaging) across multiple devices and email clients before launch to ensure successful execution

REPORTING

  • Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in email data analysis and performance reporting
  • Experience analyzing performance metrics and creating detailed campaign reports to translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Proficient with using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence Reports to create dashboards and visualizations
  • Expertise using Google Analytics (G4) or similar web analytics platform to leverage data and metrics to drive campaign improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator
  • 5-7 years of professional hands-on email marketing experience, ideally at an agency or within a premium lifestyle brand
  • Strong experience with Excel for data manipulation, charts and pivot tables
