Prescient Design team (AI for Drug Discovery) is seeking an
experienced UX Researcher to bridge the gap between world-class
scientists and AI development teams. You’ll lead user research for advanced AI
and LLM-based scientific tools, shaping user-centered product strategies that
accelerate biomedical innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX
research and usability testing to inform product strategy and identify
workflow pain points.
- Design and execute usability studies using diverse methodologies (contextual
inquiries, heuristic evaluations, interviews).
- Gather, analyze,
and track qualitative and quantitative user feedback, driving
continuous improvement of AI models and tools.
- Translate insights
into actionable recommendations that influence product direction and
enhance user engagement.
- Develop and
maintain user-testing infrastructure, including recruitment
pipelines and research documentation.
- Collaborate
closely with AI/ML engineers, scientists, and cross-functional
stakeholders to align product features with user needs.
- Communicate
insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of
experience in UX research for complex, expert-facing or technical
systems.
- Proficiency in qualitative
and quantitative research methods, usability testing, and data
analysis.
- Hands-on
experience with platforms like UserTesting or Contentsquare.
- Strong
communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred:
experience with LLM-based tools, agentic frameworks, or scientific/biomedical
software.
