Sr. Vice President, People & Capability, HR Products and AI

Overview:
As part of the Global People Operations & Insights team, Mastercard is seeking a lead to enable and implement the end-to-end P&C Technology Products, Transformation and AI strategy for the Company. This leader will work closely with the HR Leadership Team, COEs, GBSC, TECH, Chief Data and AI Office and the business units to gather active and passive insights, along those moments that matter.
The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about defining and scaling technology products and transformation approaches for our people practices. They thrive in complex environments, seek multiple perspectives and turn feedback and data into action. They understand how, and are motivated, to define the strategy and the design of solutions to deliver impact at scale through elegant technology solutions. They leverage their expertise and understanding of the people processes, end to end, to design the strategy and translate feedback, data and business as well as market perspective into action galvanizing the P&C function and business leaders that will drive productivity, elevate employee experience and increase performance.
Role:
Own implementation of Mastercard's P&C Products, Transformation and AI Vision, developing the strategy, roadmap and driving execution
Define, implement, and scale product strategies across the employee lifecycle, in partnership with Experience Owners, that shape the employee experience across P&C, ensuring connected experience across P&C and beyond in adjacent spaces; bring a portfolio management and employee experience mindset to our toolset.
Be a thought leader and partner to the CoEs enabling them to understand tools and connected capabilities that are best fit to enable the right experiences
Establish a close-loop-feedback system with employees, people leaders and the key P&C stakeholders such as Experience Owners, GBSC, TECH, Chief Data and AI Office to enable transparency and operational excellence in technology lifecycle management from vendor selection, prioritization, delivery quality and timeliness.
Lead the team and the relationship with the engineering organization in TECH to ensure on-time, cost-effective and high-quality technology implementation
Owns and manages the vendor license budget for all P&C tools
Owns P&C business transformation
Responsible to define the P&C AI Strategy to embed AI across all people processes, including ensure governance and a buy-build-borrow model to execute against it, in partnership with the Chief Data and AI Office, TECH partner, as well as Experience Owners.

• Demonstrated experience leading large scale HR or technology programs in a complex, matrixed environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead a project team without hierarchical authority by creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering success through teamwork
• Demonstrated ability to effectively balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while upholding program vision, strategy and goals
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goals in a complex environment, while continuously scanning the environment for adaptations needed to achieve those goals
• Strong product management track record
Strong influencing capabilities
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience with design thinking methods

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
