As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to join our team and support our financial operations. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting OnsiteIQ’s continued success.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for owning the core accounting functions, including accounts receivable/payable, month-end closing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Prepare financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with audits and coordinate with external auditors.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll transactions.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Support the VP of Finance in developing financial models to track company growth.
• Assist leadership with budget planning and expense management.

• Prepare tax filings and ensure timely submission.
• Maintain compliance with sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax obligations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
• 2-4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in startups or fast-growing companies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Maxio, Bill.com, Anrok, Brex).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
