  • Maintain the fixed asset subledger in NetSuite, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliation to the general ledger
  • Process intercompany transactions and reconcile balances between Viamedia and LFG entities monthly
  • Support partner accrual reconciliations in coordination with the Director, Finance and Assistant Controller
  • Assist with state and local tax filings under Assistant Controller supervision
  • Assist with payroll timesheet approval follow-ups to support timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Prepare audit support schedules and respond to PBC requests during the year-end external audit
  • Serve as backup for the AP Accountant for daily AP work and 1099 preparation
  • Serve as the owner of the cash processes including daily bank reconciliation
  • Participate in process improvement work including ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and playbook documentation
  • Maintain a current playbook for the Staff Accountant role covering monthly close journal entry list, balance sheet reconciliation procedures, fixed asset subledger maintenance, intercompany reconciliation steps, audit PBC playbook, and AP/cash backup procedures
  • Maintain appropriate internal controls and compliance with GAAP
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned

Desired Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including month-end close ownership

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and internal control concepts
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
