$90,000.00 - $217,000.00 a year

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to monitor vendor BIM Coordination on our ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor third-party design and construction firms in the development of multi-disciplinary construction models.
- Review and validate third-party BIM work and requirements, including clash detection workflows, metadata checks, LOD alignment, Autodesk Forma model management workflows, model & file naming conventions, and IFC/IFF model signoff & turnover expectations.
- Collaborate with external BIM teams to align BIM expectations with facility requirements and project timelines, and manage contractor staff resource allocation for multiple high-tech construction projects.
- Provide Navisworks technical mentorship and training as needed for BIM Coordinator contract staff, and perform Navisworks clash detection to support contract BIM Coordinator staff.
- Use additional BIM and Project Management tools (Autodesk Forma, Procore, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.), monitor project progress related to BIM signoffs, and collaborate with Principal BIM Lead, support staff, and Micron sustaining Facilities counterparts to maintain Micron BIM/VDC requirements and workflows
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the BIM/VDC industry.
- Solid understanding of BIM/VDC workflows, Navisworks functionality, Autodesk software and CDE platforms (Forma), and general industry standards.
- Familiarity with AEC project and organizational change workflows in the high-tech industry to include Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects with a high level of Owner involvement and oversight.
- Familiarity with Facilities Engineering teams and roles.
- Excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate with external construction firms, vendors, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on ensuring safety and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience overseeing third-party BIM Coordination for semiconductor, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or data center facilities.
- Experience supervising BIM Coordinator or Designer support staff.
- Experience with clash detection and model management workflows.
- Knowledge of new technologies in the BIM/VDC ecosystem.
- Ability to mentor internal teams or collaborate closely with external partners to ensure BIM alignment.
- Experience or interest in adopting agentic AI into work processes
