About Polymarket

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.

We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

About the Role

Polymarket is looking for a Staff Data Analyst sitting within the Revenue and Strategic Insights team, reporting directly to the Head of Revenue. You'll own the analytical infrastructure that tells us how the business is actually performing — growth, liquidity, revenue, retention, market health, and everything in between. Right now, too many important questions get answered ad-hoc or inconsistently. You'll fix that.

The mandate is straightforward: make sure leadership always has a clear, accurate, and timely picture of what's happening across the business — and make sure that picture is actionable. That means owning KPI frameworks, building the dashboards and reports that executives and the board rely on, and going deep when something looks off or an opportunity is hiding in the data. This is not a support role. You will be expected to come with findings, not just outputs.

Polymarket moves fast and the data environment reflects that. You'll be working across a mix of structured and messy data, building analysis from the ground up, and fielding high-priority questions from senior leadership on tight timelines. If you like having a clear problem statement handed to you, this probably isn't the right fit. If you like digging into raw data, forming a point of view, and presenting it with conviction, read on.

What You'll Do
  • Own executive and board-level reporting, including business reviews, KPI dashboards, and recurring performance summaries that give leadership a reliable source of truth on growth, volume, revenue, and retention

  • Monitor business performance daily and proactively surface trends, anomalies, and risks before leadership has to ask — with clear context on what's driving them and what to do about it

  • Run deep-dive analyses on user behavior, trading activity, market performance, and revenue drivers to identify what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities are

  • Evaluate the impact of product launches, pricing changes, marketing campaigns, and liquidity programs on key business outcomes, and translate results into clear recommendations

  • Build forecasting models and scenario analyses to support planning cycles, investment decisions, and resource allocation across the business

  • Partner with Product, Finance, Growth, and Engineering to align on metric definitions, priorities, and how analytical work connects to business decisions

  • Improve the systems and processes behind how we report, reducing manual work and making it easier to automatically surface the insights that matter most

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with a track record of working directly with senior stakeholders

  • Strong SQL skills — you can take raw, complex data and turn it into clean, reliable analysis without needing someone to prep it for you

  • Experience owning business-wide reporting and KPI frameworks, not just contributing to them

  • Solid understanding of core business fundamentals — acquisition, retention, order size, monetization — so your analysis comes with real context and your recommendations actually land

  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely to executives — you write and present in a way that builds confidence, not confusion

  • High attention to detail — you check your work, and then you check it again, because you know that a number error in a board deck has consequences

  • (Plus) Experience in crypto, fintech, prediction markets, or another data-intensive financial product

Benefits
  • Competitive salary & equity

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage

  • 401k match

  • Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
